Iowa Legislature taking cues from president on anti-groping bill

In the Sunday, Feb. 23 Gazette “Iowa Today ” section, Linn County Attorney Nick Maybanks, a, member of the Iowa County Attorneys Association, was perplexed concerning push back by the Iowa Legislature road-blocking the enhancement of penalties for someone groping another’s intimate areas. Could it be that, since the current U.S. president has openly stated he feels this behavior is OK in his book, any Republican majority legislature feels they must turn their attention to other matters?
