Iowa has gone right-wing crazy

Congratulations America for showing there are still places in the country with rational voters that care about democracy and peoples rights. Unfortunately Iowa isn’t one of those places anymore as we’ve decided to go full MAGA right-wing crazy with all branches of our government.

First we have a senator that’s been in Washington longer than I’ve been alive, and I am retired. All the while saying he’s in favor of term limits. And then there’s Gov. Kim Reynolds and her band of merry white men controlling the statehouse to make women second class citizens and choke our public schools of funds with their mean-spirited attack of our teachers, school boards and even students. Considering their hatred of the public school system and the declining enrollment, I hardly think it’s the time to be spending $300 million dollars in Cedar Rapids to tear down old buildings only to build new while they siphon off money for school vouchers, so my vote will be no on the bond proposal.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Welcome to Crazytown Iowa.
