Iowa has done well with Grassley

If you haven't noticed, the returned Navy Admiral Mike Franken has only been back in Iowa for five years. He has questioned the loss of the small family farms that he remembered prior to his years of military service. He doesn’t remember the costs to make a profit on a living that depends on market values and even worse: the weather.
He urges voters to approve a “resurgence of progressive thought in this state” (like California) — even calling the Inflation Reduction Act a “great step forward” even though it won’t fight inflation but will raise taxes.
Chuck Grassley, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, was able to stall the appointment by then-President Obama of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. He is, and has been, a farmer.
This is the time to look at Iowa’s senior senator and say, “Iowa has done well with Chuck — we do not need a change.”
