Iowa coach’s anger is unprofessional

I'm sorry I didn't write a letter to the editor last week and express my disappointment with Iowa basketball coach Fran McCaffery and his “if looks could kill” expressions he shows to his players when they don't do exactly what he expects them to do in the second half of a game or sometimes even earlier.
At the time I thought, “Maybe he could use some anger management sessions with Dr. Tom Davis.”
Well, after the basketball game with Wisconsin, we came upon some people who won't put up with “if looks could kill” expressions and body aggressiveness: the referees.
Thanks, guys, for taking our coach to task for his unprofessional behavior and making him leave the arena.
When we played Villanova and they were behind, did their coach rant and rave? No, he just shook his head with the “aw shucks” look and kept clapping and encouraging his team to a win.
When we played Iowa State and they were behind, did their coach rant and rave? No, he just kept coaching and clapping and encouraging his team to a win.
It's not becoming for a coach to require his entire coaching staff to restrain him or have his entire squad defend and justify his behavior. We all think this is a great team to watch play and we really like their effort.
A disgusting expression cuts to the quick and kills the spirit. Lesson learned?
