Interstate cables offer protection

This is in reference to the Aug. 1 letter 'Interstate 380 cables are a death sentence.”
I was upset and angry about the letter because if those death sentence cables had been up in 2007, my sister-in-law would be alive today.
I'm sure the semi driver who came clear across the median and hit my sister-in-law almost head-on would not have made it past those cables. He's still alive, but my sister-in-law didn't have a chance. It all happened so fast.
She never got to see her daughters graduate from high school or college and the oldest is getting married soon.
Also, I'm older than Interstate 380, too. And I like the cables up because they will stop you from going across and killing some innocent person.
