Insist on protection of religious liberties
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 16, 2012 12:47 am
Our U.S. Senate has not approved an amendment related to S. 1467 (Respect for Rights of Conscience Act of 2011) that would secure the protections of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and protect religious organizations from being forced to pay for services that violate their religious beliefs.
It is time for action. We the people will not stand for this. We vote and we must insist on the protection of our religious liberties. We do not have much time left to save this great country for future generations. If we don't act soon, our children will no longer enjoy the freedoms we have enjoyed.
See how your senator voted on the amendment at www.stophhs.com/stop_hhs_mandate/senate-defeats-blunt-amendment-to-stop-obama-hhs-mandate/. Contact your senators www.senate.gov/general/contact_
