In time of need, send a message to Hollywood

In search of a little relief from the holiday hustle and bustle, a friend and I were lured to a movie unfortunately titled, “Love and Other Drugs.” From the opening scene, we were greeted by a constant barrage of four-letter words, more skin and graphic details.
How sad it is in a world with so many needs that our morally bankrupt society encourages such utter trash and that millions of dollars are paid to not necessarily talented actors and production companies to keep this kind of entertainment available. To be sure, our Constitution guarantees freedom of speech. We also have the freedom to discourage Hollywood from making these kind of movies by not attending them.
Perhaps a message was sent. Besides us, there was only one other person in the theater and we left before it was over.
