If you want to come here, do it legally

Regarding the Jan. 1 letter titled “Illegal immigrants need to be punished” by George Mally Jr.:
I'm with you, George! But, I figure the nutty way this country is headed it won't be too long before foreigners no longer want to come here. Also, if we continue on the route we're on, it won't be too long before China owns us. And they know how to handle illegal immigrants.
Illegal still means illegal - no matter how much some folks wish it were not so. If a person wants to come to America, do it legally; just like all four of my grandparents did.
