If Reynolds cares about ‘risk,’ why ban only TikTok?

Gov. Kim Reynolds — "for reasons of national security and personal risk" to Iowans — has banned TikTok from state-owned "devices" (presumably, the computers and smartphones used by state employees). She says the citizens of Iowa “trust us with their personal and confidential information [and] we will take every possible step to protect it … ” OK, so how about banning the ubiquitous purveyors of pornography and the burgeoning sports gambling enterprises, as well. Don’t these interests threaten the personal and confidential information of Iowa citizens as much, if not more so, than the Chinese or Russians?
