In 2024 according to the USDA the United States exported $10.5 billion worth of beef, $8.6 billion worth of pork and $744 million worth of eggs to foreign countries, including China. So, the next time you lament the price of beef, pork, or eggs ask Senators Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley, “Why are we exporting USA grown food to foreign countries?” Hard working Americans are struggling with high food prices, yet we keep exporting food. So, Senators, is it “America first” or is it profit from your big donors first?
