Human life begins at conception

In the Nov. 26 article, “Supreme Court to consider timing on same-sex marriage,” the statement was made that the “right to life” movement was a “response to the growing women's right movement.”
In fact, the right-to-life movement does not seek to limit women's rights; it seeks to protect the life of innocent humans. No one should have the right to kill innocent human beings.
It is a scientific fact that human life begins at conception. Abortion destroys that life. That is what the right-to-life movement opposes, not the rights of women.
