Hubbell will invest in public education

As a parent and former legislator, I believe our children deserve a governor who will invest in public education. Public schools are the backbone of preparing students for a lifetime of success. It's shameful that year after year, Gov. Kim Reynolds and Republicans have devalued and underfunded public schools.
Pre-K and K-12 don't have the funding they need. Community colleges and regent's schools are strapped, driving up tuition. Our students are being left behind or with massive debt.
We need to elect Fred Hubbell as governor. He will turn around this threat to Iowa's future. He's made education his number one priority, from pre-K through higher education. He's traveled across Iowa sharing why it's important to fully fund universal pre-K and K-12. He knows we also must invest in vibrant post-high school educational opportunities and job training so Iowa can once again lead the nation.
As governor, Hubbell will restore education funding and get our state back on track. If you want our schools to once again have the resources they need so Iowa can have a strong future, vote for Hubbell on Nov. 6.
