HSUS ‘stole’ money, doesn’t protect animals

Kudos to all of you, the innocent victims who watched Wayne Pacelle's expose of cruelty to animals. This CEO and president of the Humane Society of the United States coaxed you into calling and spending your $19 a month as he fraudulently represented himself as a “savior” of animals subjected to such cruelty.
HSUS finance records show that after you've made that monthly donation for a year, a grand total of $1.03 will reach a pet shelter. The remainder lines the pockets of HSUS.
You now have an easy choice. Will you help warn others and withdraw your support?
In 2008, HSUS spent less than half of one percent of its budget on shelters. Instead the money is used to campaign against livestock farmers, to close circuses, end hunting and to stop the use of laboratory animals in research.
You can see videos and more information by going to www.iowafarm
bureau.com and linking to “Transparency is everything.” The Center for Consumer Freedom unleashed a watchdog project targeting HSUS. (Humane Watch at www.humanewatch.org). For example, they say that Pacelle and other executives put some $2.5 million into their own pension funds.
Are those running for office aware that, years ago, Pacelle publicly stated, “my goal is to end the use of animals for food production.”
Please don't confuse the HSUS with the Humane Society of America or any other legitimate organization working hard to protect animals.
