How can one person dictate change?

I didn't know dictatorship was alive and well in Cedar Rapids!

Why should one person who disapproves of an image on a fire truck's 'bucket” dictate the actions of so many?

The fire department doesn't want to offend anyone? Well, I'm offended. I liked the image and demand that it be restored. Where are my rights?
