House should focus on issues that affect Iowans

First they came after same-sex marriage, then working families, and now women. It has become clear that the Iowa House has no intention of bringing jobs to Iowa or focusing on issues of real concern to the people.
Instead it is one attack after the other, with the most recent being a proposed ban on abortions after 20 weeks. Do they not understand how rare these are, or why they are necessary? Apparently not. The House wants to impose a law that limits the discretion of doctors and the decision-making process for a woman and her family in difficult circumstances.
We need to refocus on issues that truly affect Iowans.
