Hospitals’ focus should be on care

I have grown very tired in the past few months of the seemingly never-ending bickering in the Cedar Rapids medical community. I think I have lots of company in my camp.
Cedar Rapids has two excellent hospitals. I have been a patient and employee of both of them.
Cedar Rapids has a huge pool of highly qualified medical providers. Both the hospitals and the providers need to rethink why they are in the business and do their very best to deliver good care. Pointing fingers and playing the blame game is not only unnecessary, it is counterproductive.
Caregivers went into the business to help people. Cedar Rapids medical community - think about that every day and deliver the best care possible every day. There are plenty of patients and plenty of illnesses to be shared.
