Honey Creek a bad idea from the beginning

While they're pointing the finger of blame for Honey Creek Resort's financial problems, the Department of Natural Resources might want
to single out whoever suggested this fiasco
in the first place: a
$58 million state-owned facility in the middle of nowhere?
Exactly whom are they trying to attract? Bad weather, bad economy, bad management may be legitimate factors, but a destination resort of this caliber in that area was never a good idea.
