Hold extremists responsible for actions
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Apr. 18, 2010 12:36 am
Does anyone else see the irony? The same people who have accused our president of being a mobster and a terrorist are now spitting in faces, name calling, vandalizing offices and homes, throwing bricks and even making death threats because they don't agree with passing health care.
There were plenty of Democrats and Republicans who did not agree with sending our young men and women to Iraq to fight a war that started with a big lie, but we did not resort to breaking the law. Just because they are right-wing Republicans does not give them the right to resort to violence and try to incite more violence. There are human beings with families being threatened. These un-American extremists need to be held accountable.
