Hinson’s record tells different story than her ads

As I was running errands this weekend, I stopped to talk to an older gentleman and we got to talking politics. He brought up how awful the Republican ads have been this campaign cycle, naming Kim Reynolds and Ashley Hinson for the outright lies in their ads and how aggressive they were toward their opponents. He said he couldn't stand watching them and changed the channel wherever they came on. I bet he isn't the only one.
As a working mom, one of the most concerning ads for me is where a group of moms claim Ashley Hinson helped end the baby formula shortage. She didn’t, in fact, she voted against a bill to get baby formula safely into the U.S. and on the shelves.
There isn’t much Hinson has done to support moms or women in general. She’s voted against the Equal Rights Amendment giving women the same guaranteed rights as men. She voted against the Paycheck Fairness Act guaranteeing equal pay to women for the same work as their male counterparts. Other bills Hinson has voted against that would help mothers include raising the minimum wage, access to contraception, extending the child tax credit, and free school lunches.
Looking at Ashley’s record in Congress, she certainly isn’t voting to help moms like me. Time to turn off the ads and look at her voting record if you want to know what Hinson has been up to in Congress.
