It's election time again, which means we've got a choice to make. Considering all of the heated bickering and partisan politics going on in our nation's capital these days, I think we need a real 'voice of reason” looking out for us here at home. Her name is Ashley Hinson.
I have known Ashley as a personal friend and a team member for quite some time. Ashley and I serve as violinist and guitarist at our church and, since we both believe deeply in the U.S. Constitution, we have had many discussions regarding national, state and local issues. She listens to all points of view; however, you can tell her heart really is in protecting our rights, keeping our community safe and improving our quality of life.
She is a true, driven leader. In this last term, she worked tirelessly for 'Home Rule for Schools,” giving local districts more flexibility and control.
She also supported a bill that provides health insurance coverage for telemedicine, which gives assistance to mental health patients. She is a true justice warrior, who has spent countless hours working toward transparency in spending at the state level. Ashley has sworn to uphold the Constitution, and she is the obvious choice for anyone who believes in protecting our rights and freedoms, as well as improving our community.
