Hinson stands with Iowa businesses

With the economy doing well and Iowa businesses feeling optimistic, it's important citizens elect candidates running for the Iowa Legislature who have jobs and the economy front of mind when it comes to policymaking. I know firsthand because I lead economic development efforts for my employer that in House District 67, that candidate is Ashley Hinson.
She has been endorsed by the Iowa Association of Business and Industry's PAC as a Friend of Iowa Business. Hinson has a 100 percent pro-jobs voting record with the association. She understands what it takes for businesses to succeed. She's voted for legislation aimed at reducing and simplifying the tax burden that Iowa businesses and individuals face. She takes time to understand both sides of complex issues, like TIF, and how it effects overall business health in our community. She also plays a leading role in ensuring Iowa has a balanced budget each year as vice chair of the appropriations committee.
Iowa employers care about an educated workforce and retaining and attracting talent. Hinson supported legislation to help close the skills gap and allow Iowans to obtain the training they need to advance their careers.
We are fortunate to have a representative who works hard and stands up for us in Des Moines and I hope others will consider Hinson's record.
