Hinson enables the worst in the Republican Party

I continue to be disappointed but not surprised with U.S. Rep. Ashley Hinson's lack of support for the infrastructure bill and her failure to vote for the censure of Rep. Paul Gosar. The infrastructure bill is desperately needed in Iowa and across America and contains funding for many projects that will benefit this district as well as the state of Iowa. I imagine it won’t be long until Hinson claims credit for some of these projects.
As for Gosar, she continues to use false equivalencies in trying to justify her vote against the censure. In a recent Gazette, she mentioned Maxine Waters' statements as a justification for her vote against censure. I don’t agree with Waters' past statements; however, they don't compare to a tweet that calls for violence against President Joe Biden or Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Hinson also failed to acknowledge that Gosar retweeted this video after his statement at the end of the censure vote. I doubt he is truly sorry for this behavior.
