Our schools need a 5% increase in state funding. Nothing less can meet the needs of our students and staff. The fact that faith based schools have voucher choices is killing our public schools. The schools your kids went to and your grandkids attend are low in enrollment and that money per student has brought public schools to their knees. It is so frustrating.

High quality Iowa schools made us proud in the past! Now school closures are freaking parents out. Make your calls now for 5% funding. Our public education is what lifts up the poor, the middle class and increases the standard of living for everyone.
