Eye 380 is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to adding colorful pollinator plants to the Interstate 380 landscape in the metro area. We thank businesses and individuals who have supported us in the past year. Now, during our annual fund drive, we invite others to join our efforts.
In 2020, we will complete our fifth project, one near Cedar Lake, and launch a sixth development on the west hillside north of 32nd Street NE. It will feature a 'wave” of native flowers and pollinator habitat flowing from a core of Prairifire crabapple trees.
We see Interstate 380 as our main street, a reflection of the entire region. Please help us add beauty and native habitat along the interstate. We are responsible for maintenance of these areas. Eye 380 has no paid staff. All maintenance work must be done by bonded and licensed landscaping companies according to Iowa Department of Transportation regulations. Nearly 100 percent of donations are used for maintenance of Eye 380 sites.
Trees Forever provides us a meeting place, ancillary services and acts as our fiscal agent. All contributions may be made to Trees Forever, with an Eye 380 notation, 80 W. Eighth Ave., Marion, IA 52302. More information is available at our eye380.org website.
