Health care reform should include birth control
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 13, 2012 12:57 am
I'm a nurse. I fought for health care reform because I saw how badly my patients needed it. I saw their struggles with insurance companies. I saw how long they put off getting care to save money. I fought for all health care, including a woman's health care.
That's why I stand with the President's decision to require employers or insurance companies to provide birth control as part of the Affordable Care Act. Families across the country will breathe easier because of President Obama's persistence.
