Health care reform an intrusion of privacy
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Nov. 10, 2009 11:04 pm
Saturday night, the U.S. House of Representatives passed its version of health care reform. This is the first time in history the House or Senate has passed a bill that would require everyone to buy something Congress thinks you should have and to buy a version that meets all of its requirements instead of yours.
Further, you risk going to jail if you fail to comply with this intrusion into your private affairs. If this becomes law, we can no longer rightfully be called the land of the free.
