Hayek’s experience, leadership are assets

On Nov. 8 I will be casting a vote for Matt Hayek for Iowa City Council. He has shown strong leadership during his first term on the council. From dealing with the aftermath of the 2008 floods to working on ways to improve economic development in Iowa City, he has shown that actions do speak louder than words. His experience will be an asset as the council deals with the future budget challenges.
Matt is a person of sound judgment, humility, hard work and common sense. These characteristics complement his strong commitment to public service. Matt has proved to be a dedicated community leader that the people of Iowa City can be proud of.
