Hawkeyes need a new football coach

To the editor:
Why does The Gazette continue to put up with Kirk Ferentz? What happened to my fellow Iowans?
Does no one possess the backbone to call for his resignation? Why is it that other schools like Nebraska have standards for both behavior and results while Iowa just shrugs its head and plods on? This guy is cold to your staff, and to the people of Iowa, and yet he escapes under the shroud of mediocrity. Just truly amazing.
Out here in Seattle we loyal Iowans are done with this. We want him out: Pay him off, hire a young dynamic coach like Scott Frost and enter the 21st century.
