Hawkeyes epitome of hard work, teamwork

To the editor:
Dear Hawkeyes: Thank you. Thank you for inspiring us. For proving that good hard work and teamwork will get you places. For showing us that staying true to yourself is important. Thank you for the excitement you brought. The big plays, the game winning ones. For giving us a reason to cheer in a world where it is easy to be discouraged.
Thanks for giving us something to look forward to something to bring us together. (Well, most of us). Thank you for pushing through all the talk and not letting anyone tell you who you are and who you are not. Most of all thank you for giving us your heart. We saw it week by week play by play. On the field and off. We can't thank you enough.
