Have you had enough?

The Gazette offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
Have you had enough? Enough evidence of racism? Enough of citizens detained, shot and killed by ICE agents? Enough court orders, federal and international laws being ignored? Enough of the CDC’s top public health officials telling parents vaccines, including the MMR and polio are now parental choice, and to heck with herd immunity? Enough destruction of the White House? Enough of Trump’s fragile ego and obsession with putting his name on buildings and possibly an airport?
Expect to see ICE agents at polling sites Nov. 3 intimidating brown and Black people unless we defend voter and state rights. Keep calling your U.S. senators’ and representatives’ offices. Leave a message. Voice your position. Keep writing postcards to flood office desks. Be specific in your message.
Join a rally or march. Give support to our immigrant neighbors. Undocumented immigrants are not all rapists and murderers. If you’re not Indigenous, your ancestors were immigrants to this land. It will be too late on Nov. 3 if citizens don’t join the courts in telling this administration “Enough” now. Take a lesson from Minnesota and take a stand if you’ve had enough.
