Hats off to the carriers who deliver for us
Mitchell A. Levin
Mar. 10, 2019 5:00 am
This winter we have endured record snowfall, the polar vortex, gale-force winds and a whole lot more. Yet every morning I open my front door and there sits my bone-dry, plastic-wrapped Gazette. And when I say morning, I mean between five and six, just like any ordinary day of the week.
So hats off to the intrepid people who deliver the paper. The postal service may have had to stop delivering the mail for a day due to the weather, but The Gazette delivery people keep on delivering.
These people are the unsung heroes of the world of journalism, and they certainly prove that the American work ethic is alive and well.
