Hart can lead Cedar Rapids to a bright future

Mayor Brad Hart is a dedicated, responsible, hardworking, focused and genuine leader who has the experience and knowledge needed to lead the City of Cedar Rapids for the next four years.

We have known Brad for more than twenty years. He has been a volunteer on numerous nonprofit boards, civic and social organizations, many times acting in a leadership role. Brad always gives 100 percent to his commitments offering his time, talent and advocacy.

During his term as mayor, Brad has worked effectively and collaboratively with city staff, council, community leaders and residents to add hundreds of affordable housing units, repair miles of city streets, construct important sections of the flood control system and adopt a community climate action plan.

His experience as an attorney, nonprofit volunteer and mayor make him the best candidate to help us address current and future community issues including: rebuilding city infrastructure, economic development, derecho replanting and climate change.
