Handicap sign fees should be addressed

I was a 66-year resident of Cedar Rapids. I want to tell the residents of Cedar Rapids a true story about having a handicap sign installed in front of their home on city property. Yes, you do get to pay $220 for the sign, the use of a city truck and two employees to install said sign. Total time to install: 10 minutes.
None of us choose to be handicapped, but when it happens you deal with it. I lost my husband, who needed the sign, and the truck and two men again came and removed the sign.
No charge, but you do not get a rebate or refund for use of sign. How many times is that sign resold and reused? New City Council members, this needs to be addressed.
