Haiti story should have been on front page

It's outrageous that your Jan. 13 edition couldn't find room on its first page to report on the disastrous earthquake in Haiti. I would have expected a banner headline on the subject (although, admittedly the governor's speech rated the coverage it received), but certainly the calamity in Haiti outranks in importance to an article about a cat traveling 80 miles.
