Haile grateful for campaign exposure

I want to thank the The Gazette and KCRG-TV9 for writing a very good description of who I am and what this campaign is about ('Student to run for C.R. school board,” Aug. 18).
I also want to thank the people of Cedar Rapids and the people of Iowa for being welcoming to me and my campaign.
First, we must elect Jack Hatch/Monica Vernon and Pat Murphy and all the rest of the Democrats on the ballot throughout the state. We can focus on other campaigns when the time comes.
The school board election is Tuesday. I would love to talk Haile for School Board, but not yet.
