Greed behind party’s efforts to limit voting

What happened to the world I grew up in? We were taught in school, that as citizens, we have a duty to vote.
In the past, both major political parties have urged people to vote. Now we have a major political party using every trick in the book to limit voting by voters considered as opposing their views.
These people call themselves devout Christians and patriots, but judged by their actions, they are consumed by greed for power and money.
If they are so concerned about voter fraud, the honest thing to do is make sure every eligible voter has a voter ID and then pass them to voters. Instead, they act like thieves in the night trying to catch people unaware.
