It was refreshing to read how 'Kennedy High School students are taking the lead on violence prevention,” March 18. I was especially pleased to see senior Agam Gill's picture as he led a discussion about suicide prevention with freshmen during their homeroom.
I have come to know Agam through his high school years as he has attended Campus Life Breakfast Club on Fridays, and he is a friendly young man who always has a smile for everyone. He lives his faith, and was asked one day about his future plans. He said 'to be a doctor.” When asked what kind of doctor, he replied without hesitation 'a neurosurgeon.”
With students like Agam involved in this important program, I feel confident about the future even of our country. May God bless him and all the students who are making a difference in their school and culture.
