Grassley’s wife advocates care her husband restricts

A breast cancer ad has recently been airing on local radio stations.
The ad featured Barbra Grassley, who in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, urged every woman over 40 to see a doctor and schedule a mammogram.
Doesn't Grassley see the irony in her words? Here she is urging women to get a breast exam yet at the same time, her husband, Sen. Chuck Grassley, is in Washington opposing health care reform that would ensure that all women could afford the mammogram that she recommends.
Either Chuck Grassley does not fully appreciate the current situation of health care or he does not understand what his words and votes do. Many people in our country do not have, nor can they afford, health insurance. Women who cannot afford insurance cannot afford breast cancer screening.
While Barbra's urging may save some lives, Chuck's opposition will condemn others to a short life of misery.
Oh the irony, it is bitter indeed.
