Grassley’s ‘pull the plug’ line disappointing

I could not believe I was hearing correctly when Sen. Chuck Grassley give credence Aug. 12 to the misinformation that one of the health bills being considered in Congress would “pull the plug on grandma.”
There is language in H. R. 3200 about living wills and advanced directives. It is not a requirement, but an offer to pay for counseling by your doctor, your clergyman, or a social worker. I am on Social Security and have Medicare - I also have a living will that I was able to do by myself. It would have been helpful and less stressful if I had had a professional assist me in formulating the document that lets my wishes about what I want done if/when I am faced with a critical health situation; my wishes, no one else's.
I am very disappointed in Grassley's statements.
