Grassley’s plan for millionaires falls short

So, if James Lynch's Dec. 2 story (“Harkin, Grassley see possibility of extension on payroll tax cut”) is correct, Sen. Chuck Grassley has his own plan to make sure millionaires do their share of sacrificing to help cut down the federal debt.
While federal employees should only have to endure a measly five-year pay freeze, Grassley would punish millionaires by making them “ ... ineligible for unemployment compensation and food stamps while increasing their Medicare premiums.” He says that would affect the same people as the tax increase Democrats are proposing.
I did not realize so many millionaires are receiving food stamps and unemployment compensation. If this means they have to give up the condo in Aspen or forego the vacations in Tuscany, my heart bleeds for them.
