Sen. Chuck Grassley's cynical no vote on modest changes to our nation’s gun laws was predictable. After all who wouldn’t be cynical after spending 42 years in Washington, D. C.? Grassley’s election year calculation was about his preservation not about protecting innocent Americans from being pulverized by weapons of war in schools, grocery stores, theaters and churches. In November, remember, Grassley works for Grassley.
