Grassley protects rich, not middle class

Jul. 2, 2010 12:01 am
Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa recently sided with Republicans when he voted against legislation in a combined bill that included ending Bush era tax breaks for the wealthy. In the other part of the legislation, Grassley voted to kill a jobs bill that effectively ends an extension of federal unemployment benefits after June. Grassley's vote protects the wealthy at the expense of middle class Iowans.
Grassley's vote against the American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act of 2010 says it all. Vote Roxanne Conlin in November.
