Grassley does nothing for health care crisis
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Nov. 7, 2009 11:04 pm
Sen. Chuck Grassley is working hard to kill the health care bill to make sure the health insurance companies can keep milking the American people and the Republicans can make President Obama look bad. The senator was on the Senate Finance Committee to come up with a health care bill and also on a panel of three Republicans and three Democrats to come up with a bipartisan plan for a health care bill.
After two months, he has no plan of his own and nothing constructive to add to the discussion. Did you ever watch any of his interviews?
Believe me, the senator's not working for us. The only time he knows Iowa is when it come time for re-election. The Senator likes to showboat what a watchdog he is for us. He likes to tell us how outraged he is, he scowls a lot, huffs and puffs and then votes with big money.
It's time to think for ourselves and wake up and smell the roses, people of Iowa.
