Grassley and Ernst’s vote for Senate bill only disguised as ‘national security’

Grassley and Ernst are up to no good again! While our southern border remains open, another $95 billion “national security” package was just approved in the Senate. I have no idea why they have coined the aid as being for “national security” because none of this money will do anything to secure our nation. Only a small fraction of the latest approved “national security” spend would be necessary to complete the fence and put into place what is required to secure our border. Yet for some reason Iowa’s Republican Senators voted to approve spending money we don’t have to protect and defend other countries while leaving our own country wide-open to the continued invasion (more than 10 million illegal crossings seems like an invasion to me) that we have been experiencing now for the past three years.
In short, it’s time for Grassley and Ernst to step down and make room for some new people who love and favor our country and its interests more than the rest of the world and its problems. To make matters even worse, to even make this aid available, the U.S. will likely borrow more money from one of our most formidable adversaries, China! That would be like going to your worst enemy to borrow money to pay for something you can’t afford to in turn give it away to someone who can never repay you. Would you do that personally? Nope! What a twisted mess we are in as a country.
