Governor should pay more than $52 in taxes

Concerning the April 21 article on Gov. Terry Branstad's tax return (“Branstad reports 2011 earnings: $190,000).
Coming from the working class and having had to focus on making ends meet my entire life, I cannot fathom the top official in our state paying $52 in state tax. Making less than one-sixth of Branstad's income and having four kids complete higher education, paying for a home, car and medical, I still pay more than 10 times state tax than our governor.
Also, to receive more than $9,000 in a state refund, can our governor relate to the majority of Iowans? Can our governor sleep at night taking a handsome salary from us and paying $52 back in his taxes? Things should have to change.
