Governor should base decisions on ethics

Legal. Ethical. Intelligent.
Dear Gov. Kim Reynolds: I'm disappointed and dismayed. I expect more from you as a new governor than continuation of the decades old same-o, same-o making excuses for behavior that fly in the face of common sense.
While your use of the airplane by a donor and advocate for a 'product” (i.e. casino) may be 'legal”, do remember that a difference exists among the three words and concepts I've written above.
What may be ‘legal' (allowed by law), may skirt the edge of ‘ethical' ('Acting in ways consistent with what society and individuals typically think are good values” (business dictionary) and certainly does fly in the face of ‘intelligent' (using common sense).
So, the best thing to do about using the airplane is say, 'I was wrong. I am sorry. I will not do this again.”
Keep in mind the former Iowa State University president and his antics with using planes. Especially if you want to be more than a one time partial term appointed governor.
We deserve better than blatant, hypocritical behavior. Ethics! Always what is ethical.
