Gov. Kim Reynolds’ vaccine lawsuits are unhealthy for Iowa

In a Nov. 5 front page story, (Reynolds vows legal action against vaccine rule) Gov. Kim Reynolds says, "President Biden is taking dangerous and unprecedented steps to insert the federal government even further into our lives …"
Unpack the loaded language and feel the anguish — that our governor has the platform to stoke the fire of divisiveness. Dangerous? Hiking mountains alone in the dark is dangerous. We are not alone in the dark. Vaccines are part of our medical tool kit, and have been, so using 'precedence' is simply a cliche in the argument against medical science. Kim Reynolds wants to fight instead of heal.
