GOP priorities demonstrate complete disconnect

I'm pretty confused right now. The party that likes to espouse individual liberties and freedoms on everything from gun rights to vaccines seems to have a different idea when it comes to a woman’s right to decide what's in the best interest regarding her decision to have a child should she become pregnant. Along this same vein, the aforementioned same party who is all for the rights of an unborn fetus is all up in arms at the moment because there’s a shortage of baby formula. This Republican Party who wants to protect a fetus at all costs wants to deny baby formula to immigrant babies at the border. Am I wrong in thinking there's a complete disconnect in the logic of these lawmakers? You can't have it both ways.
