GOP is no longer the party of Lincoln

It appears that the Republican Party is no longer the party of Lincoln. If Lincoln were alive today he would put his head into his hands and cry. The strategy of fostering fear and hate has infected our country’s spirit. The leaders often appear to be sowing division and turn a blind eye to violence and insurrection while often disregarding facts and truths along with the rule of law. Because of this strategy the Republican Party has gained a following of neo-Nazis, white separatists, white supremacists, and anarchists. As it turned out, Trump had no policy agenda to “Make America Great Again.” His administration became the swamp he promised to empty. He said we have to “stop the steal,” when in reality he and his accomplices were trying to steal the election! Trump violated his oath of office and should never be allowed to serve in public office again. But the real question is, are there any Republican leaders out there who are willing to do what it takes to bring the Republican Party back to being the party of Lincoln?
