GOP blocking Dems’ efforts to solve issues

Those who blame everything that's wrong in this country on a president of 20 months and the Democratic Party are simply trying to rewrite history. Do not believe them!

The power of Republican conservatives (like Sen. Chuck Grassley) has grown immensely for the last 40 years. Still they deny responsibility for the litany of problems they created. Their belief in unregulated capitalism destroyed the world's economy and put millions out of work. Their ignorance of child development keeps us from having universal preschool while our competitors provide it to race past us in education.

Their belief that religion should dictate public policy strips away human rights while destroying the separation of church and state. They whine about profound fiscal deficits they created, while insisting on tax cuts for the very wealthy and businesses that send jobs overseas. Their denial of science has this planet experiencing ecological catastrophe.

President Obama and elected Democrats are working hard to turn this country around from a long disastrous course. It will take years with Republicans blocking every effort to solve problems and diverting our attention with insignificant issues like mosques in New York City.

Please support and vote for Democratic candidates so that we can keep progressing out of the dangerous mess Republican conservatives have made.
